Knitting projects

The practice of knitting has emerged as a discipline within my work, serving as a powerful tool to bridge diverse concepts across various mediums. With its boundless versatility encompassing video, photography, and textile creation, this technique offers infinite possibilities. Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology to contemporary folklore, the poetic essence of knitting shapes this body of work, where handmade craftsmanship intertwines with the profound ideas conceived during the rhythmic repetition of the technique. Exploring the intrinsic analog nature reflected in the time-intensive process and choice of materials, these multimedia productions delve into key themes.

Multidisciplinary designer based in Italy with a focus on fashion and textiles.

As a designer, I'm fascinated by the objects in my everyday life. I observe everything around me—the domestic, the street, and my wardrobe. My goal is to design unique garments that reveal the intertwined memories of each passing day. To achieve this, I surround myself with physical and symbolic materials, creating an archive for exploring time and memory. Immersed in this intimate bubble, I utilize various techniques like photography, weaving, and graphic arts. Through this process, I propose collections that capture forgotten epochs and life experiences, bringing them to light.
