This anthology encompasses a collection of memories, textiles, images, and archives woven together to form a tangible space.

"Florilegium" is the anthology of myself.

Florilegium comes from the question of originality and reproduction—the excess of images fleeting in the vast stream of information we receive in everyday life is lost in oblivion.

What to do with this excess?
What's the value in newness?
How to create something new?

As a response, the project proposed using the metaphor of a medieval garden (Hortus Conclusus), an enclosed and portable space in the shape of a book. What becomes of the images are infinite ways of reading an archive composed of my personal archive in dialogue with the knowledge, experiences, thoughts, and feelings linked to my work and history as a designer.

Multidisciplinary designer based in Italy with a focus on fashion and textiles.

As a designer, I'm fascinated by the objects in my everyday life. I observe everything around me—the domestic, the street, and my wardrobe. My goal is to design unique garments that reveal the intertwined memories of each passing day. To achieve this, I surround myself with physical and symbolic materials, creating an archive for exploring time and memory. Immersed in this intimate bubble, I utilize various techniques like photography, weaving, and graphic arts. Through this process, I propose collections that capture forgotten epochs and life experiences, bringing them to light.
